School Referendum FAQ

Will special education programs be impacted if the referendum fails?

District 90 is known for providing differentiated education tailored to the individualized need of each child. A failed referendum will affect special education services, regardless of mandates. The consequences of a failed referendum will be lengthy delays in individual evaluations, program development and service implementation for these children receiving special education services. In addition, cuts across all educational programming will result in fewer opportunities for children receiving special education services as cuts in gym, music, art and foreign language will affect all children in the District.

Your vote counts! Please vote "YES" for the referendum on March 21, 2006.
