The Committee to Preserve River Forest Schools will hold a number of events to help residents understand the need for a referendum. In addition to other public forums, the committee has organized a campaign kick-off where community members can learn about the schools, get their questions answered and volunteer to help.

March 21st is Election Day! Vote YES to continue the tradition of excellence in River Forest. Your YES vote contributes to strong schools, strong children, strong property values, and a strong community. Every vote counts! Polling places are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The referendum campaign kick-off took place on Sunday, February 12 at Roosevelt Middle School. Attendees learned how River Forest public schools excel and how they provide a first-class education -- and what it will take to perpetuate that strong legacy of excellence.
